Tamyra B. Dowell

Tamyra B. Dowell, 67, of Moberly passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Tamyra was born to Clifford and Lona (Landerth) Harris on November 30, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri. Tamyra was a registered nurse and worked for Moberly Regional Medical Center as well as University Hospital during her career. She loved taking care of her patients and was very proud of her profession. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Eugene Dowell; and son, Matthew Allen Harris. Tamyra is survived by her daughters: Mary Harris-Hayes of Moberly, and Bethany Anderson of New Franklin; brother, Bill Harris and wife Nancy of Center, MO, half-brother, Chucky Harris and wife Connie of Hannibal, MO; grandchildren: Michael Pegelow, Christopher Pegelow, Cody Pegelow, Nicholas Wade Pegelow Gamble, Heather Anderson, Justin Anderson, Rachel Anderson and Ryan Anderson; great-grandchildren: Austin Cravens, Mercedes, Alexis, Elijah, and Dalton Pegelow, Amelia Rose Pegelow, Emory Alexander Potts, Megan Harris and Monica Harris; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes in Moberly. A Memorial Service will take place following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
