Tommy Cody

Tommy Jack Cody, 66 of Modesto, CA recently moved to Moberly, MO, was at home surrounded by his wife and children when he went home to his Lord on August 11, 2021. 

Tommy was born December 23, 1954 in Amarillo, TX to Eugene Cody and Dorothy Kelly Cody.

He graduated high school in Modesto, and then went on to become a Diesel Truck Mechanic at Fairbanks Trucking. He was employed there for over 30 years.

Tommy was a man who believed in working hard and playing harder.  He was a generous man with a huge heart and he was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.  Tommy was a loving father and husband.  His greatest passions in life were his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his family, his friends and fishing. 

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bob Cody; a niece and two nephews.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Cody; son, Bobby (Ana) Cody; daughter, Malena (Dan) Morriston; grandchildren, Bailey, Jackson and Olivia; sisters, Darlene, Wanda and Ginger; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Tommy’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home.  condolences may be shared online at pathwaymemorial.com.
