Tony Nickerson

Tony Gene Nickerson, age 56, of Moberly, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Moberly Regional Medical Center.

Tony was born April 18, 1965, to Charles Edward Nickerson and Alice Lucille Lingo Nickerson in Salisbury, Missouri.

Tony was a member of Pentecostal Church member and lived his life for the Lord. Tony married his wife, Brenda Garr in Moberly, Missouri.

Tony was a very private man that kept to himself. He enjoyed playing cards or board games and he loved listening to his music. His favorite music genre was gospel. His family and friends will always remember him as being a helpful person.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings Joyce Schwartze, Ronnie Nickerson (Kathy), Phyillis Nickerson, Diane Heaston, Billy Nickerson, Brenda Sumpter all of Moberly, Missouri and Debbie Willis (Terry) of Huntsville, Missouri. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tony is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda; his parents; siblings, Roy Nickerson, Charles Richard Nickerson and Eleanor Nickerson; two brothers-in-law, Darrin Heaston and Clete Schwartze; sister-in-law, Connie Nickerson and several nephews.

A graveside service celebrating Tony’s life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, MO.  Visitation will be held on March 7, 2022 at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel from noon until the time of service.
