Trania Lone Showens

Trania Lone Showens, 96, of Moberly passed away October 23, 2010 at Moberly Nursing & Rehab. She was born on September 29, 1914 in Austin, Kentucky to William Yancy and Rebecca Catherine Carver. Mrs. Showens had worked as a custodian for the University of Missouri before retiring. She was a member of North Park Church of God (Holiness). On June 27, 1937 in Normal, IL, she married Raleigh Lee Showens and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1948. She is survived by one son Raleigh and Linda Showens of McHenry, IL; one daughter Tranetta and Clyde McComb of Barrington, IL; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter. Graveside services will be held Wednesday October 27, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at Phelps Chapel Cemetery east of Jacksonville. Million-Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly is in charge of the arrangements.
