Vera E. Hildabrand

Vera E. Hildabrand, 82, of Cairo, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri. Vera was born November 4, 1934 in Chicago Illinois to Walter and Estella (Bacbour) Sturgeon. She married Herman Hildabrand and helped him through the years on their farm and with their dairy. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed taking care of her plants. Survivors include her sisters: Alice Lusinski and Loretta Sturgeon both of Indiana; longtime friend, David (Peggy) Warren of Moberly, Missouri; as well as other family and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and a sister. Cremation has been accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
