Wanda Bernice Patton, 80, of Moberly passed away October 24, 2010 at Mark Twain in Moberly. She was born July 27, 1930 in Stanton, Iowa to Willie Russell and Georgeann (Wallace) Sears. Mrs. Patton worked for home health agencies before retiring. She attended North Park Baptist Church and was a member of the V.F.W. and the Eagles. Wanda also enjoyed playing Bingo. On April 5, 1987, she married Thomas Patton in Jefferson City and he preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by one son Chris and Patty Kribbs of Cairo; two daughters Nardra and David Mitchell of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Henrietta and Bruce Johnson of Macon; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Geffrey Kribbs and Darrell Comstock, one grandson, three brothers Elmo Sears, Lawrence Sears and Keith Sears and three sisters Kathleen Fainter, Juanita Woodward and Dorothy Coleman. Services will be Wednesday October 27, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Assocaiton or the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of Amercia.
