Wayne Lee Holman, 86, of O’ Fallon, MO, passed away on Sunday, October 17th at Home.
Wayne was born on November 21st, 1934 in Moberly Mo to Olion and Nannie (Williams) Holman. He graduated from Moberly Junior College, and moved to St. Louis, Mo, where he worked for Bellm Plumbing for over 50 years. He retired to lake of the Ozarks, where he spent his time fishing, boating, and entertaining family and friends.
In 2007, Wayne moved to O’Fallon, Mo, to be closer to family. His family and friends will always remember Wayne for his sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to “tell it like it is”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Olion and Nannie Holman; his first wife, Doris (Cleeton) Holman; his beloved wife of 49 years, Marilyn Jean (Townsend) Holman; siblings, Forrest Holman and Laurana (Holman) Schamma; brother-in-law, Roy Schamma and son, Steven Holman.
Wayne is survived by his children, Debbie (Rodney) Costello-Reams, Diane (Philip) Derbak, Brian (Hollie) Holman; daughter-in-law, Tempy (Steven) Holman; grandchildren, Bradley (Alexis) Holman, Annavee (Eric) Brown, Vincent (Shaina) Costello, Stevie Lee (Chris) Kahre, Karlie Reams, Nicholas, Stephen, and Allie Derbak, Haley Holman and 11 great grandchildren. As everyone says, Wayne was “one of a kind”, and will be missed by all.
A memorial service celebrating Wayne’s life will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. A private inurnment will follow at a later date.
