William Daniel “Wick” Gravitt, 83, of Moberly passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Cameron Regional Medical Hospital. He was born May 29, 1932 in Moberly, MO to Eddie Gravitt and Helen Gibson Gravitt.
Wick was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and talking on the CB radio. His handle was “Bald Eagle”. Wick even owned a shrimp boat for a time, named the “Jackie Lee”.
Those preceding Wick in death are his sisters, Thelma Beach and Helen Pilkington, his brother, Edgar Charles Gravitt and his children, Vickie Day and Danny Gravitt
Survivors include siblings, Eva and Ray Davis of Pittsburg, CA and Marion and Linda Gravitt of Moberly, MO; children, Randy and Elsie Gravitt of Alvin, TX, Christopher Gravitt of Santa Fe, TX, Marla Bremblee of Santa Fe, TX and Gary Gravitt of Alvin, TX; eleven grandchildren, special beloved niece Helen Sue Gravitt, extended family and friends.
A private celebration of Wick’s life will be held at a later date.
