William "Bill " Raymond Young

William “Bill” Raymond Young, 69 of Madison, MO passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Boone Hospital in Columbia with his family by his side. Bill was born to the late Harry Raymond and Ruth Elizabeth (Rogers) Young on August 24, 1943 in Moberly, MO. Bill Married Barbara Dallner on December 17, 1988. He was a member of the Madison Christian Church. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and working in his yard as well as time he got to spend with his friends.After many years of service as bulk plant manager for MFA oil Company in Moberly, Bill retired in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Madison, Mo; daughters: Jill McQuillen and husband Lynn of Sellersburg, IN, Paige Young of Peoria, IL; son, Todd Young of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Julie Herrin and husband Jerry of Moberly, MO; son, Mike Goode of Corydon, IN; grandchildren: Jennifer Hamma, Jamie McQuillen, Zachary Merschbrock, Clayton Merschbrock, Morgan Wiseman, Austin Wiseman, McKenzie McQuillen, Gavin Young, Amy Herrin, and Amanda Herrin; great grandchild, Asher Hamma. A visitation for Bill will take place on Tuesday, December 18,2012, from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of MOBERLY. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 with Pastor David Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris, MO. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Madison Fire Department.
