About Us

Our Story

A large brick building with a green sign in front of it.

Founded and established in September of 2010 by Jennifer and Kyle Lawrence, we began serving the Moberly community as Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. The Lawrence’s took pride in renovating a former church building, giving it new life, to serve families in a spacious, comfortable setting. On December 31, 2021, Reid Millard, Nick McKague, and Autum McKague purchased the funeral home, changing the name to Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel.

At Pathway-Millard, we believe that funeral and cremation care is a vocation. Our primary goal is to offer innovative choices for every family and to help them enjoy the memories of yesterday, ease them through the challenges of today as they deal with their loss and look to the promise of tomorrow and the healing that it brings.

Because every life has a story, we take pride in offering families many ways to create a personalized and memorable Celebration of Life. Personalization provides a special way to remember your loved one and allows those present the ability to participate in the ceremony. Our desire is to provide the service each person deserves at a price their family can afford.
